Excellent place with excellent wi-fi, a cozy lounge bar, and pet-friendly options. The staff also helped me find a money exchange during my first stay, which I appreciated. I'm returning for Christmas!

I had a nice stay in a Twin Room for 4 nights. Breakfast was lovely, especially the locally sourced sausages, and the dog-friendly atmosphere was a standout for my Bella, who loved the treats!

Ask about the pre-order breakfast. it allows you to select options the night before for a stress-free morning meal!

missingWrote a review on Aug 24comfortable bedcozy loungeunpleasant view
The King Room featured a surprisingly comfortable bed with soft linens, making for restful nights. The lounge area offered a cozy spot to unwind, though it could use a bit more attention.
Out of my window, the view consisted of a broken fence panel and a clutter of rubbish stored under a fire escape, giving the place an unkempt look. The carpets appeared worn and emitted a musty smell. the general cleanliness could use a serious upgrade. The lack of accessible storage in the wardrobe made it a hassle to get to my belongings, and the higher towel rail was nearly impossible to reach. Basic necessities like cutlery and operational light switches seemed absent, which forced me to stumble in the dark.

The lounge area felt wonderfully cozy and welcoming, perfect for a relaxing afternoon with a cup of tea. I appreciated the thoughtful touches that made navigating the space easy for us seniors.
A more accessible seating arrangement would be nice.

Sandhill provided a pleasant stay with welcoming hosts and a cozy Twin Room, but the shower pressure limited comfort. Diverse breakfast options and convenience for takeaways added to the experience. a good value base for exploring Sandown's charm!

Had a great time with my friends! We explored the local beach and visited a charming café nearby. The welcoming atmosphere made our stay enjoyable. I recommend it to anyone looking for a friendly place to unwind, but just be aware that breakfast options are somewhat limited.
We were disappointed that the shower had very low water pressure, making it difficult to take a proper shower.

Just an ideal choice for a transient stop in Sandown with great value-to-price ratio. The food was high quality, well cooked, and presented. Try to interact more with the staff for a friendlier vibe.

great service but slightly lacking decor
The hosts were charming and made us feel at home throughout our stay. The breakfast truly impressed us, standing out as one of the best we've had during our travels.
The decor felt somewhat dated, which might not appeal to everyone.

the hosts, andy and dave, are super friendly and made us feel right at home from the get-go. breakfast was outta this world, seriously one of the best we've had, with local stuff and plenty of options. location is fab, just a 10 min walk to the town center and beach, with a good pub nearby to chill at. the place was clean and comfy, really enjoyed our stay, felt relaxed. also loved the off-street parking, made it easier for us to get around.

A warmly welcoming atmosphere was felt from the moment we arrived, with attentive hosts who ensured a delightful stay. Breakfast offered a pleasant variety, in particular, the option for a continental breakfast was a thoughtful touch, especially on busy mornings. there were some small inconsistencies, such as the occasionally burnt eggs. The hotel is conveniently situated, allowing easy exploration of the area on foot.
